My name is Delan Ajero, at the time of writing I am a Solutions Architect working for an Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise partner based in Bribane, Australia. My primary focus at the moment is Collaboration, Networking & Security particularly in the Health Care, Hospitality and Government space.
Previously I was a Network Engineer for an Manage Service Provider(MSP) whose main clients are in the commodity space, Oil, Gas, Mining etc. I used to managed an team of engineers as part of the Network Operation Center (NOC) of a service provider in Gold Coast Australia where I initially started as a Level 1 Engineer.
I used to work for TAFE Queensland Brisbane as a IT Networking and CISCO teacher and occasionally as a tutor in some classes. Once in a while I get contracted to work for HP as an ICT Desktop Engineer doing deployment work for different companies . I am a Cisco Certified Network Professional in Routing and Switching, Brocade Certified vRouter Engineer and a VMWare Certified Associate in Data Center Virtulisation.
I have been in the IT industry for more than a decade working in different areas which would include Academe, Retail and Corporate environments. This blog is basically my reflections, insights and maybe instructional stuff that I would want to share with my readers and myself. This blog started out with the name Road to CCNA which later on became Road to CCNP, a couple of certs later I’ve decided to call it Running-config.
If you expect me writing a tutorial on R&S you’re reading the wrong blog. Ok maybe once in a while I might write something here and there but like I said the main point of the blog is to share my journey into the world of networking and my quest to get my CCIE R&S number.
Apart from all these geeky stuff, I love to travel. I love to explore and learn from different culture and taste their food. I am in constant pursuit of life.
